
1. Site Access
a. This site is operated for its client by Authentic Internet** in conjunction with its suppliers on behalf of its client. By visiting this site the User is accepting these Terms of Use which become effective when the User first visits. Authentic Internet* may modify the Terms of Use for its web sites at any time and this Statement will be updated to reflect those changes. It is the User's responsibility to check this Statement regularly before using the Services. By using the site for the first or any subsequent time the User signals agreement to the then current Site Terms of Use.
b. This and other Authentic Internet* sites are designed to be used by Users from the UK and will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, without considering any conflict with any other laws of any other country. If the User chooses to access this or any of Authentic Internet*’s other sites from outside the UK, it is the User’s own choice and the User is responsible for complying with applicable laws. Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms of Use are reserved.
c. Additional Terms and Conditions are applicable to the use of restricted areas of Authentic Internet* sites, and to use of Authentic Internet* services. Any visit to any of these sites - registered or unregistered - or use of services is covered by Authentic Internet*’s Privacy Policy.
d. Anyone is welcome to view the contents of the publicly available pages on this site using a proprietary web-browser according to these terms and conditions. 2. Site Content
a. The User may view the content of this site on-screen using a browser and print out a single copy or store electronically a reasonable amount of the content for the User’s own personal, non-commercial use. 3. Restricted areas
a. The User can browse the majority of Authentic Internet*’s sites without having to register. However, registering for restricted areas may give access to additional content, so the User may find it advantageous to register. When registering the User is expected to provide accurate, up-to-date and verifiable information about the User’s identity when registering. If the User provides inaccurate, false or misleading information, the User may be delayed or prevented from using the sites.
b. If the User can register with Authentic Internet* or its clients, or becomes a customer with access privileges to restricted parts of the site, the User may be granted access by means of a user name and password. These are for the User’s personal use only, and such security information must not be disclosed to any third party. Please advise Authentic Internet* or its client if for any reason a username or password has been accidentally disclosed, and a replacement will be issued. Authentic Internet* reserves the right to terminate the User’s access privileges if it have reasonable cause to believe that such information has been voluntarily disclosed.
4. Aspects of Site
a. Information included about Authentic Internet* and its clients on its sites, as well as about products, services and prices may be updated at any time without notice. It will be updated as soon as possible to reflect any recent changes, but it is important to ask for verification before relying on any information provided. It should be noted that because the provision of services may have to be adapted to meet the needs of each individual user, Authentic Internet* normally only includes price GUIDES on its web sites. Prices may be modified depending on the exact details of each order. Clients may fix their prices at their own discretion.
b. Authentic Internet* has taken reasonable precautions to check that the pages and programs used on its site are free of viruses, trojans and and other malicious devices. However, Authentic Internet* cannot accept any responsibility for the effect of any modifications to its sites about which we are unaware (whether modification took place before or after being uploaded to the server). Each User is advised to install an effective anti-virus and firewall system on their computer and activate continuous scanning to cover themselves against unforeseen problems.
5. Rights
a. The User acknowledges that the Authentic Internet* and Pageslaves* logos are trademarks. The User may not use them except for viewing as part of this site without authenticated written permission and the User is granted no rights to use these logos in any way.
b. All intellectual property rights in the site (including copyright, trademarks and content rights) are owned or licenced by Authentic Internet*. This applies to all logos, photographs, graphics, page layout and design, programming, scripts, fonts, sounds, textual and visual content - whether static, dynamic or animated.
c. No User of any Authentic Internet* site is granted any right to store any part of the site as a print or copy or in any electronic retrieval system, public or private, or for distribution from a server or other computer. Nor is any right granted to any User to copy or copy and modify any textual or other content, script, program, design, graphic or photographic image or any other part of the site, nor to incorporate it in any other website or program, nor to create any derivative. Graphics stored on Authentic Internet* sites may not be used separately from their accompanying text. No right is granted for any commercial use of any part of any of Authentic Internet*’s sites.
d. Sites from Authentic Internet* include its own original images as well as images from other suppliers including Corel (including images from CorelDraw (R) 9 and 10), Comstock, Getty Images (including Photodisc), Hemera and ImageState (John Foxx Images) which are © Copyright, are variously protected by the copyright laws of the US, Canada and elsewhere and are used under licence. In addition to the general Terms of this site, it should be stated here that no permission is given to download these images except for viewing purposes as part of a web page on a single computer. Specific credits are included in the "ALT text" information for each image. Please note that the images may incorporate copy protection and tracking mechanisms to monitor for misuse.
6. Warranties
a. Except as stated in these Terms of Use, Authentic Internet* and its clients disclaim all warranties, terms and conditions, whether expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise relating to information or material or programming of this site and its other sites. In addition, any pages that use scripts or programs to enable their operation are viewed at the User's own risk.
b. Authentic Internet* and its clients take reasonable care and skill in collating the content of their sites but it is provided free of charge "as is" and without any warranty (express or implied) on the part of Authentic Internet*. No further warranties are provided. In particular, because Authentic Internet* is not aware of the User’s particular situation, neither it nor its client provides any warranty that the content of its sites is accurate or that it will be suitable for the User’s requirements. Although Authentic Internet* and its clients do their utmost to regularly update their sites, changes in technology, practices or the law may result in parts of its sites being out-of-date. Additionally, unless Authentic Internet* provides the User with written, authenticated permission to the contrary, the User may not create any link from any other website to any of Authentic Internet*'s websites, except by linking to the front page of the site itself using the domain name followed by a forward slash (eg: www.authenticinternet.co.uk/). Under no circumstances may the User link directly to any photograph, graphic or image (whether static or animated) on any of Authentic Internet*’s sites. This will be regarded as theft of server bandwidth.
b. Authentic Internet* sites may contain hyperlinks or graphical links to other websites outside of Authentic Internet* ‘s control. Authentic Internet* cannot be responsible for the availability, reliability, content or policies of third party sites.
8. Liability
a. Neither Authentic Internet* nor any of its suppliers shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage (including, without limitation, damages or loss or business or loss of profits) whether based on warranty, contract, tort or otherwise whether from the unavailability, use of or inability to use this site or any material contained in it, or from any action or decision taken as a result of using this site or any such material. However, Authentic Internet* does not exclude any of its liabilities which cannot be excluded or restricted by UK law.
b. If the User breaches any of these Terms, its authorisation to use this site automatically terminates and the User must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed materials. If the User breaches these terms and conditions and Authentic Internet* is unaware of, or ignores the fact that the User has done so, Authentic Internet* will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies at a later date, or in any other situation where any user breaches them.
c. Authentic Internet* shall not be responsible for any breach of these terms of use which is caused by circumstances beyond its control.
9. Law
If any part of this agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, then the remainder of the agreement, both in full and in part, shall be continue to be enforced, and any clause brought into question shall be enforced as fully as possible.
